REFLECTION PAPERS
HONOR YOUR PEACE.
I hold on to my peace so much that trying to tell everyone my side of the story has become chaotic and problematic to me. At this point, I just allow people to judge me based on their own experiences with me, and if they believe everything that they are hearing from someone else's mouth, I already accepted that that is not my problem anymore. I believe that intelligent and wise people don't just believe whatever from whoever. They will not base their judgments on just one person's opinions of the other. I am now maintaining my own peace and it involves working on not getting bothered by the storms from the outside. Remember: the people who truly love and care about you will stay. The ones who are easily persuaded and don't love you deep enough will go. I guess that's just how life works sometimes.
it is okay to be wrong sometimes.
We’re all imperfect here. We’ve all done things that show the flaws in our character and you know what? It is okay to be imperfect. It is okay to be wrong sometimes. Look, stop forcing other people to do something that they are not comfortable of doing just to please you. You may not be fully aware of it, but if you keep on doing this, you will start becoming the "toxic one". Be receptive enough to understand that it is unhealthy to force other people to do what you want them to do when they are not ready. Instead, be their source of support. Acknowledge their feelings and understand that sometimes, people need some time to grasp what's going on. Your pace is not their pace. Acknowledge it and learn from it.
When someone seeks closure, remember that it is not for you. It is for them to finally free themselves.
Don't be a victim of things that you cannot control.
Dear Empath, You watch the world with eyes that see further than what's visually there. You feel so deep it makes you feel so alone. You feel so much. You love intensely. Don't you wish to find someone who will listen to you, too? Someone who will get you? Don’t you wish to find someone out there who will walk this Earth right next to you and feel things as strong as you do?
